Jane Singhal began her violin studies at Indiana University South Bend under Dr. Seymour Rubinstein. She was concertmaster of the Midwest Chamber Orchestra and soloed with the Twin Cities Symphony. Jane received her B.A. in music at Yale, where she studied with violinist Kikuiei Ikeda of the Tokyo String Quartet and subsequently with Oistrakh students Dana and Yuri Mazurkevich at University of Western Ontario in Canada. She holds an M.A. in Russian Studies from Princeton University. Before moving to the Bay Area, she was director and violinist for Interlude Chamber Ensemble in Mendham, New Jersey. Jane currently teaches select students at her violin studio in Belmont and records demonstration videos of a wide range of student violin repertoire for her You Tube channel.
Nicole Galisatus graduated from UCLA in 2018 with a double degree in clarinet performance and architectural studies. As a winner of the 2016 Concerto Competition, she soloed with the UCLA Philharmonia . Currently, Nicole is principal clarinetist of Peninsula Symphony, while also freelancing with a host of regional orchestras such as Opera San José, Santa Rosa Symphony, Santa Cruz Symphony, and West Bay Opera. Nicole’s musical journey has been guided by mentors Gary Gray, Mark Brandenburg, Bruce Foster, and Steve Sanchez. Beyond the musical realm, Nicole designs digital products for Enterprise Mobility, focusing her expertise on enhancing user experience within the car rental industry.
Anna Khaydarova received her Bachelor’s degree with honors from Tashkent State University, Uzbekistan in 2002 and her Master’s degree from Notre Dame de Namur University in 2005. In 2001 she won second prize in the Bartok-Prokofiev-Kabalevsky International Piano Competition in Redford, Virginia, and in 2003 she won the NDNU Concerto Competition and performed Prokofiev First Piano Concerto with the Redwood Symphony. Ms. Khaydarova is Music Director at Island United Church and pianist for Viva la Music Choir. Her private teaching studio is located in Foster City.
